FBM KLCI Futures End Higher In Line With Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 22 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher in line with the underlying cash market.

At the close, January 2026 was 4.0 points higher at 1,715.5, February 2025 rose 4.5 points to 1,719.5, March 2026 firmed 5.0 points to 1,700.5, and June 2026 increased 5.5 points to 1,705.0.

Turnover decreased to 6,964 lots from 8,293 lots yesterday, while open interest slipped to 42,694 contracts from 43,841 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 11.33 points  to 1,717.14 from Wednesday’s close of 1,705.81.
