FBM KLCI Futures End Mostly Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mostly higher.

At the close, January 2026 was 1.5 points higher at 1,717.0, February 2025 rose 2.0 points to 1,721.5, March 2026 firmed 1.0 point to 1,701.5, while June 2026 decreased 2.5 points to 1,702.5.

Turnover decreased to 6,233 lots from 6,964 lots yesterday, while open interest slipped to 41,444 contracts from 42,694 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 2.85 points or 0.17 per cent to 1,719.99 from yesterday’s close of 1,717.14.
