FBM KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 27 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher in line with the underlying cash market.

At the close, January 2026 was 30.5 points higher at 1,772.0, February 2025 rose 28.5 points to 1,773.0, March 2026 advanced 27.5 points to 1,751.5, while June 2026 increased 28.0 points to 1,755.5.

Turnover surged to 69,702 lots from 27,140 on Monday, while open interest jumped to 109,460 contracts from 62,341 previously.

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) soared 27.18 points or 1.55 per cent from Monday’s close of 1,744.07.
