Amanah Raya Settles 2,554 Small-Value Estate Cases In 2025 - MOF

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 29 (Bernama) -- A total of 2,554 files involving estates valued at RM3,000 and below were settled by Amanah Raya Bhd between January and December 2025, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) said.

In a written reply to the Dewan Rakyat, published on Parliament’s website, the ministry said Amanah Raya applies a tiered and reasonable fee structure based on the value of the estate administered, with an emphasis on low charges for small-value cases.

“For estates valued at RM3,000 and below, only a minimum fee of RM50 is imposed,” the ministry said.

It added that the government would continue to monitor, support and strengthen Amanah Raya’s role through improvements in governance, service digitalisation, reasonable fee structures and inter-agency cooperation.

The measures aim to ensure efficient estate administration, safeguard heirs’ rights and reduce the incidence of unclaimed assets in a comprehensive and sustained manner.
