FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 29 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower, tracking declines in the underlying cash market.

At the close, the January 2026 contract fell 24.5 points to 1,731.0, both February 2026 and March 2026 contracts declined 24.0 points to 1,734.0 and 1,714.0, respectively, and June 2026 was 21.0 points lower to 1,718.0. 

Turnover shrank to 21,888 lots from 64,928 on Tuesday, while open interest reduced to 60,076 contracts from 104,624 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI fell 25.60 points, or 1.46 per cent, to 1,730.89 from Wednesday’s close of 1,756.49.
