Dassault Systemes, Nvidia In Pact To Build Industrial AI Platform Powering Virtual Twins

From Kisho Kumari Sucedaram

HOUSTON, Feb 3 (Bernama) -- French software giant Dassault Systemes and Nvidia have forged a long-term strategic partnership to build a shared industrial architecture for mission-critical artificial intelligence (AI), aimed at accelerating the use of science-based “virtual twins” across multiple industries.

The collaboration combines Dassault Systemes’ virtual twin technologies with Nvidia’s AI infrastructure open models and accelerated software libraries to establish science-validated industry-world models.

The partnership was unveiled here at Dassault Systemes’ 3DExperience World 2026 during the general session, hosted by Dassault Systemes chief executive officer Pascal Daloz and Nvidia founder and chief executive officer Jensen Huang, on the second day of the event on Tuesday.

The four-day event draws about 4,000 participants from all around the world, including designers, engineers, entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Daloz said the partnership establishes a new foundation for industrial AI, one that is trustworthy by design and capable of scaling innovation across the generative economy.

“We are entering an era where artificial intelligence does not just predict or generate, but understands the real world.

“When AI is grounded in science, physics and validated industrial knowledge, it becomes a force multiplier for human ingenuity,” he said.

Meanwhile, Huang said physical AI represents the next frontier of artificial intelligence, and hence, the partnership would unite Nvidia’s AI and Omniverse platforms with Dassault Systemes’ industrial expertise.

“Together with Dassault Systemes, we are uniting decades of industrial leadership with Nvidia’s AI and Omniverse platforms to transform how millions of researchers, designers and engineers build the world’s largest industries,” he said.

As part of the collaboration, Dassault Systemes, through its Outscale brand, will deploy so-called AI factories under its sustainable and sovereign cloud strategy, using the latest Nvidia AI infrastructure across three continents.

The move is expected to enhance the operation of AI models on the 3DExperience platform while ensuring data privacy, intellectual property protection and data sovereignty for customers.

Nvidia, meanwhile, will adopt Dassault Systemes’ model-based systems engineering approach to design AI factories.

The partnership also includes the development of virtual companions on Dassault Systemes’ 3DExperience agentic platform, combining Nvidia’s AI technologies and Nemotron open models with Dassault Systemes’ industry models to deliver context-aware assistance to engineers and designers.
