KLCI Futures Open Lower In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 6 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower on Friday, mirroring losses in the underlying cash market.

At 9.25 am, the February 2026 and March 2026 contracts eased 7.0 points to 1,729.0 and 1,707.5, respectively. The June 2026 contract fell 8.5 points to 1,709.5, while September 2026 lost 11.5 points to 1,694.0.

Turnover stood at 1,898 lots, with open interest at 38,110 contracts.

By 9.53 am, the FBM KLCI index was down 3.56 points at 1,727.46, compared with Thursday’s close of 1,731.02.
