FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 6 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today.

At the close, the February 2026 and March 2026 contracts slipped 3.5 points each to 1,732.50 and 1,711.0, respectively, the June 2026 contract eased 3.0 points to 1,715.0, and the September 2026 contract fell 1.0 point to 1,704.50.

Turnover slid to 7,105 lots from 7,257 lots on Thursday, while open interest improved to 42,726 contracts from 42,628 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI increased 1.81 points, or 0.11 per cent, to 1,732.83 from yesterday’s close of 1,731.02.
