UDA Strengthens Market: UDA Heights Receives Warm Reception In Johor

JOHOR BAHRU, Feb 13 (Bernama) -- UDA Holdings Bhd maintains its property development momentum in the Johor market with a warm reception for its premium residential project UDA Heights.

UDA acting president and CEO Azrudyn Rashid said almost 80 per cent of the project's dream residences, bungalows and two-storey semi-detached houses had been sold.

He said the project was also successfully completed two months ahead of schedule, reflecting the agency's commitment to ensuring efficient and quality project implementation.

"More than 70 buyers received the keys at the UDA Heights key handover ceremony held recently.

"Hence, this achievement is a catalyst for us to continue to be committed to developing high-quality projects to meet the needs of the national property market and contribute to the well-being of the community," he said in a statement today.

UDA Heights is at the strategic location of Bandar UDA Utama and offers two types of residences, namely six-bedroom bungalows with six bathrooms and semi-detached houses with five bedrooms and six bathrooms.

The residence is specifically designed to meet the needs of three generations and is also equipped with a utility room for home office or study space, a dry and wet kitchen and a disabled-friendly toilet.

This development, among others, implements water harvesting initiatives as part of its commitment to sustainable development. Bungalows with a lot size of 80’ x 90’ are offered at prices starting at RM2.2 million, while semi-detached houses with a lot size of 50’ x 70’ start at RM1.7 million.

Commenting further, Azrudyn said that to date, UDA through UDA Land (South) Sdn Bhd has successfully developed almost 9,000 residential and commercial units in Johor, with more than 70 per cent of them being bumiputera buyers.

"This initiative supports property ownership among diverse communities including first-time buyers and professionals, especially in urban areas.

"In addition, the development is planned holistically for the socio-economic well-being of the community while ensuring long-term value for the owner," he said.

Among the residential projects being developed by the property development and asset management leader under the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development (KUSKOP) is Sedili Residensi in Tanjung Sedili, Kota Tinggi, offering 48 units of affordable single-storey terrace houses.

Azrudyn said each unit is approximately 861 square feet in size and comes with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with prices starting from RM320,060.

“This year, we are optimistic about launching three new projects, including Residensi Monstera which features a combination of two- and three-storey townhouses.

“Also, to continue new developments in Bandar UDA Utama through UDA Enclave, we will also be launching the UDA Amarylis Plot 1 and Plot 2 projects which include the development of two-storey terrace houses,” he said.
