KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 25 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on Wednesday, tracking the underlying cash market.

At the close, the February 2026 contract slid 5.5 points to 1,746.0, March 2026 shaved 6.5 points to 1,721.0, June 2026 shed 6.5 points to 1,725.0, and September 2026 receded eight points to 1,711.0.

Turnover enhanced to 62,037 lots from 57,795 lots on Tuesday, while open interest rose to 102,848 contracts from 98,281 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 6.20 points or 0.35 per cent to 1,747.81, compared with Tuesday’s close of 1,754.01.
