KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 27 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on the final trading day of the week, in line with the subdued performance of the cash market.

At the close, the February 2026 contract slid 25 points to 1,716.0, March 2026 shaved 30 points to 1,693.0, June 2026 receded 31 points to 1,697.0, and September 2026 shed 35 points to 1,681.0.

Turnover eased to 14,610 lots from 27,484 lots on Thursday, while open interest slipped to 55,247 contracts from 68,418 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 24.33 points or 1.39 per cent to 1,716.61, compared with Thursday’s close of 1,740.94.
