KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, March 19 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today in sync with the underlying cash market.

At the close, the March 2026 contract eased 12.5 points to 1,719.50; April 2026 and September 2026 fell 12.0 points each to 1,721.0 and 1,700.0, respectively. Meanwhile, June 2026 lost 10.5 points, falling to 1,720.50.

Turnover rose 10,346 lots from 7,688 on Wednesday, while open interest was higher at 42,127 contracts from 40,404 previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 9.10 points or 0.53 per cent to 1,720.71 from yesterday’s close of 1,729.81.
