KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, March 26 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, in sync with the underlying cash market.

At the close, the March 2026 contract fell 6.0 points to 1,710.0, April 2026 slid 5.0 points to 1,712.5, June 2026 declined 4.5 points to 1,710.0, and September 2026 decreased 4.0 points to 1,692.5.

Turnover surged to 72,802 lots from 19,617 lots yesterday, while open interest climbed to 106,155 contracts from 52,401 contracts previously. 

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) eased 5.79 points to 1,710.89 from Wednesday’s close of 1,716.68.
