KLCI Futures Higher In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, April 1 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Wednesday.

At 9.37 am, the April 2026 contract added 18.5 points to 1,708.0, the May 2026 contract gained 19 points to 1,708.5, the June 2026 contract increased 19.5 points to 1,706.5, and the September 2026 contract advanced 17 points to 1,688.0. 

Turnover stood at 3,115 lots, with open interest at 34,878 contracts.

At 9.59 am, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) rose 10.16 points to 1,700.52 after 59 minutes of trading, from Tuesday’s close of 1,690.36.
