KLCI Futures Edge Lower In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, April 7 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Tuesday.

At 9.41 am, the April 2026 and September 2026 contracts fell 2.5 points each to 1,684.5 and 1,666.5, respectively, while the May and September 2026 contracts declined 1.0 point each to 1,688.0 and 1,689.0.

Turnover stood at 1,177 lots, with open interest at 34,262 contracts.

After 41 minutes of trading, the FBM KLCI added 0.37 of-a-point to 1,681.20 from Monday’s close of 1,680.83.
