Bumi Armada Eases In Early Trade As CEO Steps Down

KUALA LUMPUR, April 7 (Bernama) -- Offshore production and support services provider Bumi Armada Bhd eased in early trade today after Gary Neal Christenson stepped down from his roles as chief executive officer (CEO), as a member of the company’s board of directors, as well as those of its subsidiaries and joint-controlled entities, with immediate effect. 

As at 10.18 am, Bumi Armada eased one sen to 35.5 sen with 21.6 million shares traded.  

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Monday, the group announced that Christenson, whose term as CEO was due to expire on May 15, 2026, has requested an early release.

Bumi Armada said its chief financial officer, Luke Targett, and chief operating officer, Alex Bridgen, will jointly provide overall leadership to the company and be responsible for its performance.
