AstroBiz Launches All‑New BizOone Rewards With RM17.5 Mln In Guaranteed Marketing Support

KUALA LUMPUR, April 9 (Bernama) -- Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd has announced the continuation of its rewards campaign with the launch of the all-new Astro BizOne Rewards Campaign under Astro BizOne, a simplified package for food and beverage (F&B) outlets.

Under this campaign, Astro is offering up to RM17.5 million in guaranteed marketing support to help F&B outlets across Malaysia reach more customers and grow their businesses.

Astro, in a statement, said that this year, the campaign moves from a lucky draw format to a guaranteed rewards model, ensuring that eligible F&B outlets receive marketing exposure through Astro’s television, radio and digital platforms upon subscribing to Astro BizOne packages.

“The earlier Astro BizOne Rewards campaign saw 200 F&B outlets across Malaysia receive at least one form of marketing support through Astro’s platforms.

“This included 87 outlets promoted through Astro Audio Ads, while 48 outlets each were featured on video segments in Buletin Awani and Borak SeeNI, giving small businesses valuable national media exposure,” it said.

Astro’s head of consumer and enterprise business Tan Sian Tuang said marketing drives business growth, and Astro’s powerful mix of television, radio and digital platforms gives small and medium enterprises (SME) the visibility they need.

He said that, with rising marketing costs, F&B operators are constantly seeking practical ways to attract customers and stand out, and that the campaign was created to provide accessible, meaningful exposure for SMEs across Astro’s media ecosystem.

“Last year, the campaign helped many F&B outlets across Malaysia reach wider audiences, and the strong participation showed its real impact. This year, we are building on that momentum and expanding our support so more outlets can gain visibility and unlock new growth opportunities,” he said.

Meanwhile, Restoran Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu Gombak’s marketing manager Muhammad Irfan Rifqi Mohamed Azlan, who received marketing support through Astro Audio Ads as part of the campaign last year, said that being featured on Astro Audio Ads introduced the outlet to customers it would not have reached on its own.

He said that as a small business, it has always focused on serving their regulars -- but this campaign opened the door to a much wider audience.

“Soon, new customers started walking in, saying they heard about us via radio ads (advertisements). Since then, we have seen a steadier flow of customers, and the visibility has truly helped our outlet grow and stay busy,” he said.

Elaborating further on the campaign, Astro said that eligible outlets will receive one guaranteed marketing reward based on their BizOne minimum monthly subscription value.

For the Astro Audio Ads with Buletin Awani Feature package, the eligible outlets are offered a minimum monthly subscription of RM1,200, with an estimated reward value of approximately RM163,000.

It said this package includes a professionally produced one-minute feature and interview on Buletin Awani, Malaysia’s leading news channel, giving the outlet valuable nationwide media exposure.

Other features comprise the online coverage on Astro Awani’s digital and social platforms, helping more customers discover the outlet,” it said.

It said under the Astro Audio Ads with Borak SeeNI TV Feature package, eligible outlets are offered a minimum monthly subscription of RM1,000, with an estimated reward value of approximately RM111,000.

Under this package, rewards include a dedicated segment on Borak SeeNI, a dynamic TV talk show on Astro Prima that highlights entertainment and business insights, industry trends and success stories, as well as social media exposure on Borak SeeNI platforms to extend reach beyond TV viewers.

For both the Buletin Awani and Borak SeeNI feature packages, Astro Audio Ads are also included, where eligible outlets will receive 56 radio ad spots over seven days (eight spots per day) to drive awareness and increase footfall.

For Astro Audio Ads with Digital Magazine Feature package, the eligible outlets are offered a minimum monthly subscription of RM800, with an estimated reward value of approximately RM78,000.

It said rewards under this package comprise a 30-second radio ad aired 35 times over seven days on up to two Astro Radio stations -- Astro Audio operates 12 stations nationwide, including ERA, Hitz, Mix, MY, Raaga, Sinar, Lite, Gegar, Zayan, Melody, GoXuan, ERA Sabah and ERA Sarawak, as well as a feature article on a digital magazine platform such as Rasa, Maskulin, Nona or Vanilla Kismis, helping the outlet tell its story and reach more customers online.

The Astro BizOne Rewards Campaign runs from March 9, 2026, to Jan 31, 2027.

Astro said new F&B outlets that subscribe to the Astro BizOne package during this period, with a minimum monthly subscription value of RM800, will automatically qualify for the corresponding reward tier based on their subscription value.

“Following activation, the AstroBiz team will verify eligibility and contact participating outlets within 60 days to arrange the fulfilment of the reward.

“Astro BizOne provides a full suite of live sports coverage as well as entertainment content, featuring major sporting events such as the Premier League, BWF tournaments, Liga Malaysia, Sepak Takraw League, Formula 1, cricket and tennis, alongside 26 non-sports channels,” it added.
