Vistra Names Damian Leach As Chief AI & Digital Officer

KUALA LUMPUR, April 9 (Bernama) -- Vistra has announced the appointment of Damian Leach as its Chief AI & Digital Officer, a pivotal new leadership role focused on accelerating the group’s transformation into a digitally enabled, artificial intelligence (AI)-powered professional services organisation.

In a statement, Vista said the appointment comes as clients face increasing regulatory complexity and rapid reshaping by AI, and the new role will focus on enhancing client experience, connectivity and operational consistency across its global platform.

“Clients today want confidence, clarity and trusted expertise as they navigate an increasingly complex global environment.

“The appointment of Damian marks the next major step in our strategy, building on the digital foundations we have established to better connect clients with their portfolios across legal, accounting, tax and people services,” said Vistra chief executive officer, Kim Jenkins.

Meanwhile, Leach noted Vistra’s unique positioning, citing its global reach, deep regulatory expertise, and long-standing client trust.

“My focus will be to build high-performance strategic services, harmonise our global operations and build global platforms that elevate the customer journey to unlock business value for our clients and investors across the group,” he said.

Leach brings over two decades of experience leading large-scale technology and digital change in highly regulated global organisations, including leadership roles in banking technology and as the chief technology officer of a Fortune 500 software as a service (SaaS) provider.

Most recently, he served as global chief investment officer at Seaco, where he led the modernisation and scaling of enterprise technology capabilities and won industry innovation awards.

Leach, who is Singaporean, will be based at Vistra’s global headquarters in Singapore, underscoring the region’s importance to the group’s future growth.
