KLCI Futures Opens Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, April 15 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures traded higher at the opening on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Wednesday. 

At 9.30 am, the April 2026 contract gained 6.5 points to 1,693.50, both May 2026 and June 2026 contracts added six points to 1,694.0, and September 2026 rose 9.5 points to 1,677.0.

Turnover stood at 1,660 lots, with open interest at 36,527 contracts.

After 49 minutes of trading, the FBM KLCI increased 1.87 points to 1,689.99 from Tuesday’s close of 1,688.12.
