KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, April 16 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures traded higher at the open on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Thursday.

At 9.24 am, the April 2026 contract rose 8.0 points to 1,687.50, May 2026 gained 7.0 points to 1,687.00, June 2026 added 9.5 points to 1,689.50, and September 2026 advanced 9.0 points to 1,668.50.

Turnover stood at 1,456 lots, while open interest was at 35,711 contracts.

After 42 minutes of trade, the FBM KLCI was up 2.52 points at 1,685.94, compared with Wednesday’s close of 1,683.42.
