KLCI Futures Opens Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, April 21 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Tuesday. 

At 9.24 am, the April 2026 contract gained 5.5 points to 1,703.50, May 2026 rose 4.0 points to 1,703.00, June 2026 was 6.0 points higher at 1,705.00, and September 2026 increased 5.5 points to 1,685.00. 

Turnover stood at 1,099 lots, with open interest at 34,172 contracts.

After 33 minutes of trading, the FBM KLCI rose 9.67 points to 1,711.97 from Monday’s close of 1,702.30.
