KLCI Futures Close Higher, Tracking Firmer Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, April 21 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher today in line with the firmer cash market.

The April 2026 contract added 13.50 points to 1,711.50, May 2026 gained 13.50 points to 1,712.50, June 2026 rose 13.50 points to 1,712.50, and September 2026 improved 12 points to 1,691.50.

Turnover reduced to 5,912 lots from 8,278 lots on Monday, while open interest eased to 38,566 contracts from 40,887 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 13.03 points, or 0.77 per cent, to 1,715.33 from Monday’s close of 1,702.30.
