KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, April 24 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Friday.

At 9.40 am, the April 2026 contract rose 5.0 points to 1,722.50, May 2026 gained 3.5 points to 1,722.50, June 2026 added 3.5 points to 1,721.50, and September 2026 increased 5.5 points to 1,702.00.

Turnover stood at 3,262 lots, while open interest was 37,116 contracts.

After 44 minutes of trade, the FBM KLCI was up 0.98 of-a-point at 1,722.68, compared with Thursday’s close of 1,721.70.
