KLCI Futures Open Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, April 28 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives today, moving in contrast to the cash market.

At 9.55 am, the April 2026 contract fell 6.0 points to 1,712.0, while the May 2026 contract eased 5.5 points to 1,714.0. The June 2026 contract declined 6.5 points to 1,713.0, and the September 2026 contract slipped 5.0 points to 1,695.0.

Turnover stood at 22,121 lots, while open interest totalled 68,447 contracts.

In contrast, after the first 60 minutes of trading, the FBM KLCI rose 1.59 points to 1,718.89, compared with Monday’s close of 1,717.27.
