KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, May 7 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives today, tracking gains in the cash market.

At 9.34 am, the spot-month May 2026 contract rose 3.5 points to 1,767.0, the June 2026 contract added 5.5 points to 1,768.0, the September 2026 contract gained six points to 1,750.0, and the December 2026 contract expanded 4.5 points to 1,751.5. 

Turnover stood at 1,834 lots, while open interest totalled 35,417 contracts.

The FBM KLCI improved 7.56 points to 1,764.43 from Wednesday’s close of 1,756.87 after 39 minutes of trading.
