Great Wall Motor Showcases Its Complete Mobility Ecosystem At KLIMS 2026

KUALA LUMPUR, June 11 (Bernama) -- Great Wall Motor (GWM) Malaysia is showcasing its most comprehensive mobility ecosystem at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026, bringing together a diverse portfolio of vehicles, technologies and immersive experiences under the theme “For Every User, For Every Journey”.

A key attraction at this year’s showcase is the dedicated GWM Tank off-road experience, where visitors can get a firsthand look at the capabilities of the brand’s adventure-focused sport utility vehicles (SUVs) through a specially curated obstacle course designed to demonstrate their advanced four-wheel-drive technologies and rugged performance credentials.

GWM Malaysia chief operating officer Roslan Abdullah said the showcase reflects the company’s long-term commitment to building a sustainable and customer-centric mobility ecosystem in Malaysia, as consumers increasingly expect advanced technology, practicality, reliability and a seamless ownership experience.

“Our presence at KLIMS 2026 is not only about introducing new products, but also about demonstrating the strength of our wider ecosystem, from intelligent mobility solutions and diversified powertrains to after-sales support and customer engagement.

“We want Malaysians to see how GWM is building a mobility brand that can grow alongside their evolving needs,” he said in a statement today.

GWM said its booth demonstrates how the brand is evolving beyond individual products to deliver a complete mobility ecosystem that caters to the diverse needs of Malaysian drivers, from urban commuting and family transportation to premium mobility and lifestyle adventures.

“Visitors can explore GWM Malaysia’s growing multi-brand, multi-powertrain portfolio featuring hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and battery electric vehicles (BEVs), reflecting the company’s commitment to offering practical and future-ready mobility solutions at every stage of the customer journey,” it said.

Among the key highlights are the first public previews of the Ora 5 HEV and Haval H7 Hi4 PHEV, representing the next phase of GWM’s electrified mobility strategy in Malaysia.

While each model serves distinct customer needs, both reflect GWM’s broader vision of delivering the right vehicle, technology and powertrain for every lifestyle and driving scenario.

The booth also features GWM Malaysia’s current line-up, including the Haval H6 HEV, an intelligent hybrid SUV designed for modern family mobility; the Wey G9 Hi4 PHEV, a premium intelligent hybrid multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) that combines performance, efficiency and comfort; the Tank 300 HEV and Tank 500 HEV, lifestyle off-road SUVs which blend rugged capability with advanced hybrid technology; as well as the Ora Good Cat, an urban EV designed for connected city driving.

Beyond the vehicle displays, visitors can participate in a range of interactive activities designed to enhance engagement and product discovery.

These include technology showcases, test-drive opportunities, interactive games, lucky-draw activities, exclusive booking rewards and owner community engagements throughout the exhibition period.

As the automotive industry continues its transition towards smarter and more sustainable mobility, GWM remains focused on expanding its presence across multiple energy pathways, including HEVs, PHEVs, BEVs and future energy technologies.

From June 12 to 21, 2026, visitors are invited to experience GWM’s complete mobility ecosystem at KLIMS 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) and discover how the brand continues to redefine mobility for every Malaysian journey.

KLIMS 2026 is organised by Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA), managed by Qube Integrated Malaysia Sdn Bhd, and endorsed by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), with strategic support from the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) and the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA).
