KLCI Futures Close Higher, Tracking Cash Market Performance

KUALA LUMPUR, June 12 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today, reflecting the performance of the underlying cash market.

The June 2026, July 2026 and September 2026 contracts rose 11.5 points each to 1,689.5, 1,692.0 and 1,675.5, respectively, while December 2026 added 11.0 points to 1,673.0.

Turnover slipped to 6,507 lots from 7,499 lots on Thursday, while open interest declined to 31,623 contracts from 33,810 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) rose by 4.10 points or 0.24 per cent to 1,683.63 compared with Thursday's close of 1,679.53.
