KLCI Futures Open Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, June 19 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Friday, tracking the underlying cash market performance. 

At 9.30 am, the June 2026 and December 2026 contracts fell eight points each to 1,710.0 and 1,692.0, respectively, July 2026 slid 7.5 points to 1,712.5 and September 2026 decreased seven points to 1,692.0.

Turnover stood at 1,727 lots, while open interest totalled 32,974 contracts.

At 9.48 am, the benchmark eased 4.68 points to 1,706.71 from Thursday's close of 1,711.39.
