KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, June 25 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today in line with the weaker cash market.

The June 2026 contract fell 25.5 points to 1,665.0, July 2026 decreased 27 points to 1,667.0, September 2026 slipped 26.5 points to 1,648.0, and the December 2026 contract erased 23 points to 1,650.0 

Turnover surged to 52,319 lots from 14,824 lots on Wednesday, while open interest jumped to 84,593 contracts from 45,677 contracts yesterday.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI slid 1.09 per cent, or 18.31 points, to end at its intraday low of 1,663.82 from Wednesday’s close of 1,682.13.
