Capital A To Complete Airline Disposal In October, Eyes PN17 Exit By Year-End — Fernandes

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 24 (Bernama) -- Capital A Bhd is optimistic of completing the disposal of its airline business to AirAsia X Bhd (AAX) by October, paving the way for the group to seek removal of its Practice Note 17 (PN17) status by year-end.

AirAsia Inks US$12.25 Bln Airbus Deal To Add 70 Long-Range Jets 

KUALA LUMPUR, July 5 (Bernama) -- AirAsia has signed an agreement to buy US$12.25 billion (RM51.72 billion) worth of long-range Airbus 321XLR aircraft, with deliveries confirmed by 2028, said Capital A Bhd chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes.

Capital A Eyes Exit From PN17 By May 2025

SEPANG, March 10 (Bernama) -- Capital A Bhd is eyeing to exit from Practice Note 17 (PN17) status by May 2025 after receiving approval from shareholders and the High Court on its regularisation plan.

Airasia Carries 63 Mln Passengers With Load Factor Of 89 Pct In FY2024

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 12 (Bernama) -- Capital A Bhd’s aviation arm, AirAsia Aviation Group (AirAsia), carried 63.18 million passengers in the financial year ended Dec 31, 2024 (FY2024) with a load factor of 89 per cent, lifted by robust demand and strategic capacity growth.
