PETALING JAYA, Aug 22 (Bernama) -- The World Islamic Tourism and Trade Expo (WITEX) and World Cultural and Arts Festival (WCAF) 2025 present significant opportunities to strengthen cooperation and boost the halal economy, Islamic tourism and creative industries in Southeast Asia, according to a senior aide of the Malaysian Prime Minister.
KUALA LUMPUR, May 20 (Bernama) -- Malaysia is set to host the World Islamic Tourism & Trade Expo (WITEX 2025) and the inaugural World Cultural & Arts Festival (WCAF 2025) from Aug 22 to 24 at Sunway Resort Hotel, Bandar Sunway, showcasing a vibrant convergence of Islamic tourism, global trade, culture and the arts.
PUTRAJAYA, Oct 1 (Bernama) -- The government views third sector organisations in Islamic finance, including zakat (tithe), waqf, and infaq institutions, as having a significant role in ensuring sustainable and equitable economic development in the country, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.
