KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 29 (Bernama) -- The SEA Healthcare & Pharma Show 2025 (SEACare 2025) is set to take place in the city from April 23 to 25 next year, marking its 25th edition as the premier healthcare and pharmaceutical trade show in Southeast Asia.
Executive Chairman of Qube Integrated Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Qube) Richard Teo said SEACare’s significance as a platform for showcasing the latest innovations and driving industry growth, reinforcing Malaysia’s position as a regional trade hub and a leading healthcare destination.
Teo highlighted next year’s edition will focus on driving industry advancements through strategic partnerships and embracing digital transformation that offers a unique opportunity for stakeholders to forge meaningful collaborations, explore groundbreaking innovations, and contribute to the growth of healthcare throughout the region.
“We have steered SEACare to provide manufacturers and service providers of healthcare and pharma the platform to connect with distributors, exporters, importers, and retail buyers to grow their market share.
“To the potential buyers, SEACare offers them access to the latest products, services and innovations in the market. SEACare is an unparalleled platform for businesses to expand their market,” he said in his welcoming remarks at the soft launch of SEACare 2025 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) today.
The ceremony was officiated by Deputy Health Minister Datuk Lukanisman Awang Sauni.
The upcoming edition, themed ‘Strategic Partnerships in Healthcare Innovation: Fostering Collaboration for Digital Transformation’ will take place at MITEC, and is projected to see significant growth, with expectations of 15,000 trade visitors and 500 booths, and an estimated potential sales target of RM 1 billion.
SEACare 2025 is endorsed by the Ministry of Health and the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).
Teo said since Qube took ownership in 2024, SEACare has been reimagined as a business matching platform, enabling healthcare and pharmaceutical brands to connect with Malaysian and Southeast Asian distributors.
He also noted that the 2024 event last April achieved potential sales of RM 685.3 million, attracted over 8,100 trade visitors from 61 countries, and featured more than 300 exhibitors from 15 nations.
