KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 11 (Bernama) -- Destini Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary, Destini Prima Sdn Bhd (DPSB) has secured a RM33.05 million contract from the Ministry of Defence to provide maintenance services for safety and survival equipment for airborne equipment.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said the three-year contract starts from today until Nov 10, 2027.
"The company is required to provide a performance bond of RM550,800 and undertake the ‘Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs – Ready to Work’ at DPSB’s cost," it said.
In a separate statement, the integrated engineering solutions provider said the new contract has propelled the group’s order book beyond RM800 million, enhancing its earnings visibility through 2027, and further solidifying its position as a dependable partner in national defence.
Destini Bhd executive director Ismail Mustaffa said the contract is anticipated to have a positive impact on Destini's financial performance, contributing to its earnings growth and enhancement of net assets starting from the financial year ending June 30, 2025, and throughout the duration of the contract.
"Our current order book has expanded to around RM824 million, and our tender book is at approximately RM777 million.
"The contract reaffirms the group's unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards in the maintenance and safety of critical air force assets," he said.
