KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 12 (Bernama) – Indonesian music icon Datuk Sri Rossa has once again made history, with pre-sale tickets for her ‘Here I Am’ concert selling out within three hours of going on sale at 3 pm yesterday.
Even more astonishing, tickets for the Festival category were snapped up in just four minutes, underscoring the immense popularity and influence of the Sumedang-born singer from West Java. She is set to rock the stage at the Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, on June 14, 2025.
Moved by the overwhelming response from her Malaysian fans, Rossa Roslaina Handiyani, better known as Rossa, shared her excitement about returning to Malaysia and reconnecting with her audience here.
“I’m thrilled to return to Kuala Lumpur and perform songs that carry deep personal significance for me.
“The unwavering support from my Malaysian fans has always touched my heart, and I can’t wait to share this special moment with them as I celebrate 25 years of my career,” she said in a statement today.
The concert, a follow-up of the documentary ‘All Access to Rossa: 25 Shining Years’ which premiered last month, is organised by Yayasan Prihatin Nasional (PRIHATIN) and Inspire Production, in collaboration with SAH Entertainment. It serves as a gesture of appreciation for Rossa’s loyal fans who have supported her throughout her career journey.
Among the songs set to be performed are her iconic hits such as Nada Nada Cinta, Pudar, and Hey Ladies, along with several exclusive performances.
Meanwhile, PRIHATIN Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Aizuddin Ghazali, expressed the organisation’s honour in hosting the concert as an initiative to strengthen cultural ties between Malaysia and Indonesia through music, while also supporting Malaysia’s Visit Malaysia Year 2026 campaign.
“Rossa is a highly respected and admired artistic icon, and we are confident this concert will provide a memorable and extraordinary experience for her fans while reinforcing regional camaraderie,” he said.
