IOI Properties Partners Maybank To Offer Green Financing For Home Seekers

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 19 (Bernama) -- IOI Properties Group Bhd (IOIPG) is partnering with Maybank to offer home seekers up to 95 per cent + 5 per cent green financing for selected residential green homes.

In a statement today, the company said that, in line with its sustainability policy and commitments, the initiative promotes holistic development approaches that integrate green and energy-efficient design.

IOIPG group sales and marketing and branding head Nicole Lee Chee Yiing said the group is pleased to collaborate with Maybank for selected green homes across its portfolio of residential offerings.

“This addresses market needs by fulfilling contemporary demand for sustainable homes built with the needs of future generations in mind,” she said.

Under this campaign, home seekers can enjoy up to 95 per cent financing with an additional five per cent for credit insurance, takaful, legal fees, valuation and stamp duty with Maybank Green Home Financing.

IOIPG said applicants must comply with Maybank eligibility requirements, including gainful employment in established companies with a minimum of three years of operations.

Apart from that, the campaign applies to properties certified by the Green Building Index, GreenRE or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), among others.

IOIPG said the new campaign demonstrates its ongoing commitment to sustainable development, producing climate-resilient homes with lower carbon footprints and marking its latest efforts to promote the acceleration of greenhouse gas emissions reduction, enhancing resource efficiency and effective waste management.
