KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 19 (Bernama) -- Binastra Corporation Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Binastra Builders Sdn Bhd has secured a RM256.5 million contract from Exsim Jalil Link Sdn Bhd for mechanical and electrical (M&E) fit-out works.
The contract covers the design, construction, completion, testing, and commissioning of M&E fit-out works for a data centre in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
In a statement today, the company noted that the project will be carried out in two phases, with phase one targeted for completion within nine months and phase two will take 24 months from the yet-to-be-determined commencement date.
“With this 12th contract under our belt, the group remains committed to enhancing its expertise and exploring various sub-sectors to unlock new milestones in the construction industry.
“We look forward to sharing more good news soon as the group strives for greater success,” said Binastra managing director Datuk Jackson Tan Kak Seng.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Binastra noted that the contract is expected to contribute an additional income stream for the group over the next three financial years.
To date, the group has secured RM2.7 billion in new contracts for the financial year ending Jan 31, 2025, bringing its total outstanding order book to RM3.5 billion.
