PUTRAJAYA, Nov 23 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof participated in a three-km walk starting from Anjung Floria this evening at the TNB (Tenaga Nasional Bhd) Energy Night Walk and Run 2024, which saw the attendance of 2,788 participants.
Fadillah, also the Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, had earlier flagged off 1,712 runners for the event's 7.5 km run.
The event's second edition was held in conjunction with TNB's 75th-anniversary celebration on Sept 1, themed 'Reflecting on Progress, Embracing the Future.'
The participants were flagged off at 8.30 pm before Fadillah joined the walking event 15 minutes later.
TNB chairman Tan Sri Abdul Razak Abdul Majid and TNB president and chief executive officer Datuk Megat Jalaluddin Megat Hassan were present.
The TNB Energy Night Walk and Run 2024 also provided participants with the opportunity to explore the beauty of illuminated night scenes in the government administration centre along several routes, including Lebuh Setia, Jambatan Seri Setia, Jambatan Seri Ehsan, and Lebuh Saujana.
