KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 2 (Bernama) -- Selangor FC have formed a partnership with First Pride Malaysia as the club’s main snack partner, aimed at enhancing the stadium experience for fans.
Through the one-year partnership with the brand under Tyson Foods Malaysia, First Pride’s nuggets and various other products will be sold at FAS Food, located at the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) Stadium, during all matches of the Red Giants.
“This partnership is more than just about food; it’s about giving fans the option to enjoy high-quality halal protein nuggets. We are excited to bring innovative food choices to the Selangor FC community,” said Selangor FC Chief Executive Officer Dr Johan Kamal Hamidon in a statement.
Meanwhile, First Pride Malaysia’s Marketing Director Freddie Wong is confident that the investment in the club will be beneficial through various initiatives implemented by Selangor FC, including youth development to nurture the next generation of stars.
“We believe what makes football special is how it brings people together. For instance, when Faisal Halim scores a goal, all Selangor fans share that moment of joy, whether watching at home or live in the stadium,” he said.
He added that this new collaboration sees Tyson Foods Malaysia, which has been operating in the country for over 30 years, continuing its efforts to strengthen ties with local football and Selangor FC supporters.
The Red Giants are currently in second place in the Super League with 29 points after 14 matches, while they were eliminated in the Round of 16 of the Malaysia Cup after losing 2-3 on aggregate to Sri Pahang FC.
