FBM KLCI FUTURES CLOSE LOWER

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 16 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today. 

Spot month December 2024 and January 2025 contracts fell by 2.5 points to 1,607 and 1,610.5, respectively, March 2025 decreased by 4.0 points to 1,594.5, and June 2025 slid by 3.0 points to 1,601.5.

Turnover eased to 3,892 lots from 5,772 lots last Friday, while open interest improved to 39,152 contracts versus 38,179 contracts previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased  0.11 per cent or 1.90 points to 1,606.85 from last Friday's close of 1,608.75.
