National Unity Ministry Strengthens Harmony Through Inter-agency Collaboration

MELAKA, Dec 29 (Bernama) -- The National Unity Ministry is adopting proactive measures to promote national harmony, including fostering unity among government personnel, through collaborative inter-departmental programmes.

Its secretary-general Datuk Seri Hasnol Zam Zam Ahmad said these efforts reflect the ministry’s vision and mission to champion inclusive unity towards shared prosperity.

“This approach can be realised by forging strategic collaborations and synergies among agencies to organise joint programmes, aligned with the 'Integrated Strategy' concept. This concept emphasises a 'whole-of-government' framework, integrating efforts across government departments.

“Such initiatives lay the groundwork for integration and strengthen the spirit of harmony among Malaysians," he said.

He was speaking at the closing ceremony of the ‘Festival Anak Seni’, organised by the Malaysian Government Servants Welfare and Sports Council (MAKSAK) 2024 at the Panggung Bangsawan Melaka here today.

He said such programmes deepen public understanding and appreciation of patriotism, community development and the nation’s rich cultural heritage.

The festival, held from Dec 26 to today, attracted almost 700 participants from 18 MAKSAK affiliate bodies.
