SEOUL, Jan 3 (Bernama-Yonhap) -- A fire broke out at a store building in Bundang, south of Seoul, on Friday, and multiple people are reportedly trapped within the facility, Yonhap News Agency reported, citing authorities.
The fire began at 4.37 pm at an eight-story building in Yatap-dong in the Bundang district of the city of Seongnam, and firefighters are working to extinguish the blaze by deploying about 80 fire engines and other equipment, according to the authorities.
Authorities said some 40 people have been rescued from the facility, while about 50 others managed to escape the fire by themselves.
So far, no casualties have been reported, they added.
