JEDDAH, Jan 8 (Bernama-SPA) -- The Saudi Arabia Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has finalised preparations for the fourth edition of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025, set to begin next Monday, Jan 13, at the Jeddah Superdome.

The Saudi Press Agency reported that the conference will bring together experts, academics, pilgrim affairs representatives, diplomats, and leaders from the public, private, and non-profit sectors.

The four-day conference, featuring participation from more than 300 organisations, will showcase cutting-edge technological solutions and quality services.

This year’s edition focuses on fostering collaboration across the Hajj and Umrah ecosystem and highlighting innovations that enhance the experience of pilgrims and Umrah performers.

Organised in partnership with the Pilgrim Experience Programme, one of the programmes of the Saudi Vision 2030, the event aims to deliver world-class services by promoting efficiency, transparency, and sustainable, smart solutions.

The programme includes over 47 panel discussions and 50 workshops featuring more than 130 local and international speakers.

Key topics include sustainability, eco-friendly technologies to support the Hajj journey, applications of artificial intelligence for crowd management and service enhancement, and digital solutions to streamline operations.

The event also provides unique opportunities for startups and innovators in the Hajj sector to share their ideas.

An accompanying exhibition, the world's largest and first of its kind focused on Hajj services, will be held over an area of 50,000 square metres.  It will showcase latest projects and innovative products in the Hajj and Umrah sectors.

It is expected to attract record-breaking attendance, building on the success of the previous edition, which saw over 100,000 visitors and the signing of 202 international cooperation agreements.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah stressed that the achievements of the previous edition, including extensive media coverage, necessitate continued efforts to improve services for pilgrims and Umrah performers.

The current conference is part of a comprehensive strategy to develop the Hajj and Umrah sector and further boost the Kingdom’s esteemed role in serving pilgrims and Umrah performers.

The ministry called on experts and stakeholders worldwide to take part in this landmark international event, highlighting the conference as a unique platform for sharing expertise, exchanging knowledge, and exploring opportunities for collaboration.
