Balabala Opens Maiden Store In Malaysia At Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 10 (Bernama) -- Children’s wear brand Balabala has opened its first store in Malaysia at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur today.

The international children’s apparel and footwear brand is part of Semir Group, a major Chinese fashion retailer.

Speaking to Bernama after the store’s opening, Semir Malaysia country manager, Ng Jun Hong, discussed the brand’s approach to the Malaysian market.

He highlighted the brand’s unique design which stands out in the competitive children’s apparel market.

“We use a lot of technical fabrics, namely specially engineered materials designed for specific performance benefits such as quick dry and cool friendly. This makes us unique and different from the competitors,” Ng said, adding that plans are afoot to open more stores in Malaysia.

“We do not have a specific location yet, but we plan to open the next store by the second quarter of this year,” he said. 

Located at Lot 5.45.01 & 5.45.02 on Level 5, Balabala’s Pavilion Kuala Lumpur store offers, among others, the BalaT collection, Ultraman Collaboration Series and Disney-themed clothing and apparel.

To mark the launch, Balabala is offering promotions where customers making purchases between Jan 10 and 12, 2025, can participate in a Lucky Wheel Draw for a chance to win prizes.

Additionally, from Jan 10 to 26, 2025, customers can enjoy a rebate on purchases, depending on the amount spent.
