CYBERJAYA, Jan 16 (Bernama) -- Cyberview Sdn Bhd is looking forward to another decade of empowering entrepreneurs, with the far-reaching impact of initiatives like the Cyberview Living Lab Accelerator (CLLA) programme continuing to resonate across industries and borders.

Chairman Datuk Romli Ishak said since its inception, the CLLA programme has nurtured over 120 start-ups, secured more than RM263 million in investments collectively, generated RM837 million in cumulative revenue, and created over 1,500 jobs.

“As Cyberview celebrates the 10th anniversary of the CLLA programme, we reaffirm our commitment to driving Malaysia’s innovation ecosystem and strengthening Cyberjaya’s position as a Global Tech Hub,” he said at the milestone event yesterday.

Romli said CLLA has grown into one of Malaysia’s longest-running accelerators, serving as a launchpad for local tech start-ups to bring their ideas to life and expedite their journey towards commercialisation.

This year’s celebration featured a demo day, where Shieldbase AI from CLLA’s 19th cohort outranked nine other start-ups to win both the Judges’ Favourite and Crowd’s Favourite titles.

Other participating start-ups included Midwest Composites, IOX Tech Global, Vidanex, Vee Smart Home, ALT Synergy, Reyhut Automation, Airlytic, Wiser Machines, and Pixelence. Collectively, six of these start-ups secured investments exceeding RM1 million during the five-month programme.

The demo day was particularly significant, marking both the culmination of the current cohort’s journey and a decade of achievements by CLLA. Several recognitions were also awarded to celebrate the programme’s outstanding alumni and their contributions to the innovation landscape.

Among the awardees, Pandai received the Global Impact Award for expanding its footprint across Malaysia, Brunei, and Indonesia, providing quality education to diverse communities while securing global investments to drive its EdTech innovations.

Mesolitica earned the Rising Innovator Award for its development of a Malaysian large language model for generative artificial intelligence (AI) applications, which is recognised in the NVIDIA AI Directory. The company also signed a research and development (R&D) memorandum of understanding (MoU) with AI Singapore to advance AI innovations.

ProSales was honoured with the Momentum Maker Award for achieving remarkable revenue growth and solidifying its leadership in the sales automation sector across Southeast Asia.

The event also witnessed the signing of a significant MoU between two alumni – Mesolitica and Lekir Tech – to collaborate in the field of AI and Large Language Models (LLM), underscoring the programme’s role in fostering long-term partnerships among its alumni.

Midwest Composites walked away with the Partner’s Selection Prize, sponsored by Leave a Nest Malaysia, further highlighting the programme’s strong industry connections.

As the CLLA programme embarks on its next chapter, Cyberview remains steadfast in its mission to cultivate Malaysia’s innovation ecosystem, positioning local start-ups for success on the global stage.
