Trump Confirms Ordered Foreign Aid Freeze

MOSCOW, Jan 26 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) -- US President Donald Trump on Saturday confirmed the freezing of new aid to other countries, reported Sputnik/RIA Novosti.

"On day one, I directed every member of my cabinet to marshal all powers at their disposal to defeat inflation… I imposed a federal hiring freeze, a federal regulation freeze, a foreign aid freeze… and I created the new Department of Government Efficiency," Trump said in his economy-focused speech in Las Vegas.
