RM1.52 Million Donated Through Santuni Komuniti MADANI Programme In Sabah

TAWAU, Jan 31 (Bernama) – A total of RM1.52 million was contributed through the Santuni Komuniti MADANI programme, which was held over three days from Jan 25 to 27 in Tawau and Semporna.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar said the programme aimed at assisting the local communities, including those on Pulau Mabul, Semporna, and Tawau, with various forms of contributions.

"Thank you to all parties involved in making this programme a success, including the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia, Tabung Haji, the Islamic Economic Development Foundation Malaysia (YaPEIM), the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP), Yayasan Waqaf Malaysia, Yayasan Taqwa MAIWP and the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, along with other participating agencies.

"This close cooperation demonstrates our concern in helping communities in need," he said in a Facebook post today.
