FBM KLCI Futures Closes Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 5 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher today, tracking the underlying cash market performance. 

At the close, the February 2025 contract increased 10 points to 1,573.50, March 2025 rose 11 points to 1,555.50, June 2025 added 8.5 points to 1,559.0 and September 2025 gained 11 points to 1,547.50, respectively.

Turnover rose to 7,840 lots from 6,961 lots on Tuesday, while open interest expanded to 40,043 contracts against 39,151 contracts yesterday.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI gained 0.63 per cent or 9.95 points to 1,574.51, compared with Tuesday’s close of 1,564.56.
