JOHOR BAHRU, Feb 22 (Bernama) -- Radio Televisyen Malaysia, (RTM) has launched the JOHORfm Podcast to enhance the quality of its broadcasting content, aligning with the interests of today’s digital community.
Podcast producer Md Saufi Md Nawawi said that the upcoming audio broadcast, ‘Kawan Dengo’, will feature guests from diverse backgrounds.
"This podcast will be shared on all of RTM's social media platforms to ensure the digital community can easily access the latest information, including on entertainment, while listeners can benefit from the inspiring stories and insights shared by our guests”.
"Initially, the podcast will air once weekly in the morning, covering a wide range of topics, including inspirational life stories that aim to inspire society,” he told reporters after the launch of the audio programme in conjunction with the 60th Anniversary Celebration of JOHORfm at RTM Johor here today.
The event was officiated by RTM Deputy Director-General (Broadcast Operations), Ismail Sulaiman, and was also attended by RTM Radio programmes director, Saifuzzaman Yusop.
Meanwhile, Saifuzzaman expressed hope that ‘Kawan Dengo’ would offer a fresh experience to listeners in Johor and beyond, keeping them updated on the latest developments in the southern state of the peninsula.
Earlier, in his speech, Ismail highlighted that JOHORfm had strengthened its strategic partnerships at the ASEAN level through cooperation with Radio Republik Indonesia, Tanjung Pinang, in line with Malaysia's role as ASEAN chair for 2025.
