ASNB’s #SimpanJe & Menang Campaign Offers Prizes Worth RM500,000

KUALA LUMPUR, March 3 (Bernama) -- Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) has launched the #SimpanJe & Menang campaign, which offers unitholders a chance to win valuable prizes totalling up to RM500,000.

ASNB, in a statement today, said the campaign, running until March 31, aims to encourage Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) and ASB 2 unitholders to prioritise growing their savings and financial planning.

It said unitholders only need to maintain and increase their savings, with those holding a minimum balance of RM100,000 and topping up with at least RM5,000 in additional investments are eligible for a lucky draw.

“With 500 winners set to be selected, the campaign offers exciting prizes, including umrah or European travel packages, smartphones and shopping vouchers. This initiative not only rewards those who save but also reinforces the benefits of consistently growing their ASB investments.

“To remain eligible, participants must ensure no withdrawals are made during the campaign period, emphasising the importance of long-term savings discipline,” it added.

Meanwhile, ASNB chief executive officer and executive director Fadzihan Abbas Mohamed Ramlee, in the same statement, said ASNB provides Malaysians with the opportunity to start investing from as little as RM10, with a primary focus on fostering positive financial habits, especially among the younger generation.

He said the key to building long-term wealth lies in consistent investment and compounding dividends.

“For example, by keeping a consistent RM100,000 in ASB without any withdrawals, a unitholder could see their savings grow significantly to approximately RM105,750 in one year, RM132,252 in five years and RM174,906 in 10 years, assuming a consistent annual return of 5.75 per cent.

“This is the power of compounding – your money works for you, effortlessly growing over time,” he said.

He added that by encouraging Malaysians to maintain their savings, ASNB helps them secure their financial future with confidence.
