Dongfeng Truck Lauds 2024 Achievements, Unveils 3 New Models
KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 (Bernama) -- The Southeast Asia Dongfeng Day 2025 brand event recently held in Jakarta, Indonesia, has gathered over 100 representatives from dealers, partners, and media to celebrate Dongfeng Truck’s 2024 achievements and unveiling of new models.
Dongfeng Truck focused on both new and traditional energy solutions, emphasising its core values of reliability, intelligence, and trust.
China Dongfeng Motor Industry Import & Export Co Ltd Managing Director, Ma Lei in a statement emphasised collaboration with local partners for overseas expansion.
Meanwhile, Dongfeng Motor Corporation's Commercial Vehicle Department, Deputy General Manager, Zhang Xiaofan outlined Dongfeng Truck's core values and 2025 strategic plan, emphasising reliable quality, new energy advancements, intelligent networking, and automation.
The event also saw the unveiling of the DONGFENG GX, KC PRO, and KC PLUS that showcased top technologies and adaptability. The GX is a logistics specialist with global annual sales surpassing 10,000 units and features enhanced reliability and L2+ intelligent driving assistance.
The KC PRO is designed for heavy-duty transportation with strong anti-rolling ability and an industry-leading powertrain, while the KC PLUS meets Euro V emission standards and offers strong carrying capacity along with excellent performance.
Dongfeng Truck achieved significant success in 2024, ranking second in the commercial vehicle industry with 385,400 units sold. The event highlighted the strong cooperation between Dongfeng and its partners, with the company signing key agreements, including one with PT Indo Global Traktor for 800 dumper orders.
As part of its "Overseas Service Priority" strategy, Dongfeng Truck has established 24 service outlets in Indonesia and plans to expand this network to 64 outlets across Sumatra and Java, ensuring nationwide coverage.
Looking ahead to 2025, the company will focus on delivering high-quality products and propelling the Chinese commercial vehicle industry, achieving mutual success and growth with its partners.
